Connect a Bank Account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Connecting a bank account to Sage Accounting? Just follow these steps to get started with your banking.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Go to\u00a0\"Banking\".<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select \"New and then select \"Bank.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Complete the following information:\n
      \n
    • Account Type. Select the bank account type: Chequing, Savings, Credit Card, Cash on Hand, Loan, or Other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Account Name. Enter the name of the account, as you want it to appear on the Banking page and on reports.\u00a0\"Add<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Click \"Save to create a secure connection to your bank or to save it without connecting your bank.
      TIP:<\/strong>We recommend connecting the bank account you add to your bank\u2019s feed. Doing so allows your bank transactions to automatically download, which saves you the time of manually entering transaction. It also ensures that the account is always up to date and simplifies statement reconciliation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • On the \"Address tab, enter the bank account address and the main contact details. To enter additional contacts, click \"Save and enter the relevant information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
